In collaboration with PeerGrouP, a site-specific performance company based in rural Drenthe, ICAF created a special edition of the Round Table for its 2014 edition.

Designed by Henry Alles, the table was an art object, a mobile restaurant plus kitchen, and a stage for local stories related to the dishes that were cooked and served on the spot. The table has been placed in the middle of pastures (with cows looking over the shoulders of visitors), at farms, and in parks. For ICAF the location was somewhere that urban meets rural and local, and that can also embody the essence of Suriname through the table.
