Toon Maas is a performer and theatre maker, who – together with his wife Dini – has been touring all over the world for over thirty years. Best known for his street theatre and puppetry work, it is a little less known that Toon also devises performances at a community level, including people with disabilities. Recently, he published his Handbook for the Clown, a series of lessons in which he explores elements of physical theatre (Jacques LeCoq), mime, commedia dell’arte with which he has been working from the start of his career.
