Retina Dance Company is a dance company and dance educational workshop for dancers of different ages, backgrounds and possibilities, based in the Cultuurcentrum Berchem.

Retina Dance Company focuses on developing contemporary dance for children and young people. The focus is on natural movement, dynamic movement qualities and dancing pleasure.

The 2 pillars of the educational part are: Children Dancing and Retina Youth.

For ICAF 2014, Flemish choreographer Filip van Huffel of Retina Dance Company was involved in an artist-in-residency with Dansnest from Breda. Both companies were interested in creating movement pieces in unusual places with untrained dancers.
