Charnwood Arts has been around since 1976, and with different focus due to the landscape they, and we, now find ourselves in, Charnwood Arts wants to embrace community, and provide access to relevant and meaningful art and provide opportunities to enable people of all ages with an interest, a range of skills and abilities, experience and expectations, to access the arts across all art forms, and at all levels, in a variety of roles.
Their work encompasses most art forms including combined arts work and a wide range of approaches from long term community arts projects, performances, outdoor events and publications, video productions, school and community residencies, exhibitions and ongoing participatory arts groups
