For a few years now we have been dreaming about creating a digital platform for ICAF, one that colleagues from around the world can visit, consult, and contribute to continuously. On it we question the boundaries between the virtual and the tangible world and we explore how to translate ICAF’s inclusive vision into a virtual environment. In order to imagine something that is not there yet, we need to have a dreamer and a visionary on board. That is why we are very happy that Roos Muis has agreed to join our team for the next four years. She will be busy developing this platform and managing a technical team that will make all this possible.
Roos: “I am so excited to return to the ICAF team, this time to reimagine our digital home. Creating a trustworthy virtual space together with my colleagues, the ICAF community, designers and many others will be a collective effort that I’m honoured to be a part of. I will bring my experience as a writer, researcher and six-years-and-counting member of the ICAF community to help develop a space that is true to the spirit of the festival. I can’t wait to meet you there and to accompany one another as we explore the boundaries of what is possible for our communities and for each other.”
