Villa Zebra is a children's art museum which creates visual art exhibitions for children between 4 and 12 years old and seeks to stimulate creativity and curiosity in children. On a yearly basis Villa Zebra receives 25,000 to 30,000 visitors of which 60% are children. Half of the children come and visit the art exhibition with school or other groups. The other half of the children come with family or in birthday parties.

The interaction between children and art is a main focus point for Villa Zebra. Exhibition subjects are derived from the world of children. Ordinary subjects are experienced as special and extra-ordinary through art. Innovative educational tools and active workshops stimulate children to invent new things and approaches to the subject.

Villa Zebra also organizes neighbourhood-based projects.
