Our Lithuanian-Irish colleagues Ed Carroll and Vita Geluniene started thinking about parade making already before ICAF 2017, and continued their thinking process together with their ICAF workshop participants in Rotterdam. On September 16th the result was ready to be presented! Lower Sanciai, celebrated its 3rd “Sancines” cultural festival and brought together all the district and city groups for its first “Chairs”, parade. The parade featured more than 20 collectives and guests in this district and about 500 people. It ended with a festive picnic near the River Nemunas.
