Villa Zebra is a children’s art museum which creates visual art exhibitions for children between 4 and 12 years old and seeks to stimulate creativity and curiosity. On a yearly basis Villa Zebra receives 25,000 to 30,000 visitors of which 60% are children. Half of the children come and visit the art exhibition with schools or other groups. The other half of the children come with family or for birthday parties. 

The interaction between children and art is the main focus point for Villa Zebra. Exhibition subjects are derived from the world of children. Ordinary subjects are experienced as special and extra-ordinary through art. Innovative educational tools and active workshops stimulate children to invent new things and approaches to the subject. Villa Zebra also organises neighbourhood-based projects.
