What's happening

We are proud to share that TAKE CARE – Gesti di Cura · Gebaren van Zorg · Gestos de Cuidado – has been selected for funding through the European Union’s Creative Europe programme.

TAKE CARE is an international cooperation project that brings together cultural organisations and artists from across Europe to explore artistic, social and participatory practices centred around care, communities and collective wellbeing.

The project is a collaboration between Qui e Ora (Italy), ICAF (The Netherlands) and MEXE (Portugal). While each partner works in a different context, we are connected through shared values around accessibility, inclusion, participation and community-based artistic practice.

Over the next two years, TAKE CARE will develop artistic workshops, research activities, public events and collaborative actions that foster dialogue, cultural exchange and learning across Europe. Through shared methodologies and interdisciplinary approaches, the project aims to create spaces where art becomes a tool for connection, reflection and transformation.

The project officially began during the Up To You Festival in Bergamo, Italy, where partners gathered for the first working sessions, laying the foundations for the collaboration ahead.

We are excited to embark on this journey together and to contribute to a more connected, caring and creative Europe.
