CTO-MAPUTO (OPPRESSED THEATER CENTER)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
CTO-Maputo – Centro de Teatro do Oprimido, is a non-profit Cultural Association which aims to disseminate alternative communication techniques, social mobilization and community engagement in Mozambique. Making CTO an effective instrument for community training and education based on the public presentation and debate of ideas. The Association promotes the cultures of peace, civic and citizen participation and the collective search for solutions to problems that affect community development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Center offers advice to various institutions and organizations that seek viable and economic alternatives for communication and community engagement, with direct involvement of beneficiaries and operationalization of communication strategies through theater techniques as a pedagogical and mobilizing instrument.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Center is experienced in the staging of Interactive Theater shows, with social themes, presenting them in a playful and didactic way through an efficient communication vehicle: the Theater of the Oppressed. The Center for Theater of the Oppressed in Maputo is a representative of the method in Mozambique<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O CTO-Maputo – Centro de Teatro do Oprimido, \u00e9 uma Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Cultural sem fins lucrativos, constitu\u00edda por Escritura P\u00fablica de 16 de Julho de 2003 e publicada no Boletim da Rep\u00fablica n\u00ba 4 III S\u00e9rie de 24 de Janeiro de 2007,que tem por objectivo principal, a difus\u00e3o de t\u00e9cnicas alternativas de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o, mobiliza\u00e7\u00e3o social e engajamento comunit\u00e1rio em Mo\u00e7ambique bem como a dinamiza\u00e7\u00e3o da cultura, tornando-a um instrumento eficaz para a forma\u00e7\u00e3o e educa\u00e7\u00e3o comunit\u00e1ria com base na apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o e debate publico de ideias, promovendo a cultura de paz, participa\u00e7\u00e3o c\u00edvica e cidad\u00e3 e busca colectiva de solu\u00e7\u00f5es para problemas que afectam o desenvolvimento da comunidade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
O Centro, oferece assessoria para v\u00e1rias institui\u00e7\u00f5es e organiza\u00e7\u00f5es que pretendem alternativas vi\u00e1veis e econ\u00f3micas de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e engajamento comunit\u00e1rio, com envolvimento directo dos benefici\u00e1rios e operacionaliza\u00e7\u00e3o de estrat\u00e9gias de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o atrav\u00e9s das t\u00e9cnicas de teatro como instrumento pedag\u00f3gico e mobilizador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
