In november 2013 openden acteurs Hassan Oumhammed en G\u00fcner G\u00fcven van Stut theater het Isigcawu festival in KwaMashu township, Durban, Zuid-Afrika. Hun double bill Vriend\/Mahmoud<\/em> is mede ge\u00efnspireerd op hun eigen jeugd in de Utrechtse wijk Overvecht. Het festival in Durban bevatte ook Brothers <\/em>by Umsindo, een zeer fysieke uitvoering door twee acteurs die in het echte leven ook tweelingbroers zijn en opgroeiden in een van de townships van die stad. ICAF 2014 was blij om een platform te bieden voor beide shows en de Zuid-Afrikaanse ervaringen van de Nederlandse gemeenschapsacteurs. <\/p>\n\n
