ICAF RECEIVES FUNDING FOR THE NEXT FOUR YEARS

On August 31, the Netherlands Fund for Cultural Participation (FCP) announced that it will be continuing to finance the International Community Arts Festival (ICAF) for the next four years. In its assessment of our application, the FCP advisory committee particularly praised our plans to develop more activities in between our triennial festivals, including a multifunctional digital platform. It considers ICAF "the most important festival of its kind, effective and distinctive." Needless to say we are extremely happy with this decision. We are now all set to invent and organise a new series of meaningful live and online events so that the community arts can continue to evolve and thrive all over the world. One of the first things we intend to do is to produce an alternative version of the festival this coming February 26 and 27 (2021) to replace the event we had to cancel last March.
