Eugene continues at ICAF as advisor and scout

As some of you will already know, our beloved colleague and dear friend Eugene van Erven retired this year. We miss his kind, loving, wise and caring energy every single day, but he has been preparing us for his retirement since 2016, and thanks to the knowledge and expertise he has shared with us during his time as ICAF director, we are very confident that we can continue to develop this fantastic festival without him being with us on a weekly basis. There are no words to describe what Eugene meant to the community arts world and to ICAF. And before we start crying while writing this, we are happy to announce that he will not be leaving us completely. Eugene will stay very close and continue within an advisory role. Since he is now enjoying his free time, he will also be our scout and travel the world for ICAF. In other words, Eugene is still very present, so the good news is you will keep seeing and hearing from him!
