In this session, members of the&nbsp;Citz&nbsp;Participate team,&nbsp;including Neil Packham and Elly Goodman,&nbsp;reflect on their long-term work with communities.&nbsp;The&nbsp;presentation&nbsp;offers insight into a pivotal moment in the history of the&nbsp;Citizens&nbsp;Theatre: the large-scale transformation of its building and&nbsp;organisation.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through stories from practice, lived experience and reflection, the team explores how this process of rebuilding became an opportunity to rethink what it means to be a civic theatre, and how to ensure that community voices, skills and imagination remain central during periods of change.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Holding On and Reaching Out<\/em>&nbsp;is both a reflection and an invitation&nbsp;&#8211;&nbsp;to consider how cultural institutions can deepen connections, hold on to what matters, and continue to grow together with the communities they serve.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Citizens\u00a0Theatre | Scotland\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Holding On and Reaching Out&nbsp;is a performed lecture and storytelling event. Deze voorstellingen vari\u00ebren van kleinschalige studioprojecten bedacht door het gezelschap, tot samenwerking met toonaangevende Schotse toneelschrijvers en producties op het hoofdpodium.  <\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph {\"translatedWithWPMLTM\":\"1\"} -->\n<p>Er zijn geen kosten verbonden aan het lidmaatschap van het gezelschap en er is geen eerdere theaterervaring vereist. De leden zijn tussen de 22 en 82 jaar oud en komen uit alle lagen van de bevolking.
