In deze interactieve workshop neemt Dessa Quesada Palm, artistiek directeur van Youth Advocates Through Theater Arts (YATTA) in Dumaguete City (Filipijnen), deelnemers mee in de missie, visie en werkwijze van de organisatie. Vanuit YATTA\u2019s jarenlange inzet voor de empowerment van jongeren, sociale rechtvaardigheid en community theater laat de sessie zien hoe artistieke processen ruimte kunnen maken voor eigenaarschap, dialoog en verandering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Als ervaren en bevlogen facilitator gaat Dessa verder dan het delen van theorie of praktijkvoorbeelden. Door middel van actieve oefeningen, reflectiemomenten en gezamenlijke opdrachten ervaren deelnemers zelf hoe facilitatie werkt als een artistieke en relationele praktijk. De workshop maakt voelbaar hoe verbeelding, vertrouwen en verbinding binnen groepen kunnen ontstaan en groeien. She is a board member of IMPACT, a global organization engaging arts and culture to transform conflict and build more creative, inclusive societies. Her passion in people\u2019s theater was kindled at 13 when she joined the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA). Dessa served as Head of the Committee on Dramatic Arts of the Philippine National Commission for Culture and the Arts from 2017-2019, and has conducted theater and thematic workshops all over the Philippines as well as parts of Asia, Europe, Africa and North America.
