In deze workshop nemen de makers van\u00a0Companhia\u00a0Nova de\u00a0Teatro\u00a0uit Brazili\u00eb\u00a0je mee in hun werkwijze en het proces achter hun voorstelling\u00a0Ap\u00e1tridas\u00a0(Stateless)<\/em>. Centraal staat de manier waarop zij theater maken\u00a0over en met\u00a0mensen die vaak geen podium krijgen\u00a0en over\u00a0hoe\u00a0ze\u00a0persoonlijke verhalen\u00a0verweven met\u00a0universele thema\u2019s\u00a0en mythische verhalen, om zo te komen\u00a0tot\u00a0een theatrale ervaring die zowel lokaal als globaal resoneert.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deelnemers krijgen inzicht in de maatschappelijke context waarin de voorstelling is ontstaan. Aan de hand van oefeningen en voorbeelden laten de makers zien hoe theater, beeldende kunst en digitale media worden ingezet om persoonlijke \u00e9n collectieve stemmen een podium te geven.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 2001 by Lenerson Polonini<\/strong> in partnership with Carina Casuscelli<\/strong>, the company develops a continuous research work based on the performance, the arts of the body and the visual arts universe. The Companhia Nova de Teatro is an open company and to each new project invites actors, dancers and artists from different areas to collaborate with its productions. The multimedia theater developed by the company seeks to explore the three-dimensionality of the stage and the relationship of art and urgent social issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The performances privilege the physical aspect of the actor in the scene, where they do not represent \"papers\", but they function as icons, images and vehicles through which the public receives a multiplicity of visual and auditory events, as if it were inside a stimulus box synchronized sensorial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over nearly 25 years dedicated to experimental theater in the city of S\u00e3o Paulo, the group has presented its plays across Brazil and at festivals and theaters in countries such as the United States, Greece, Italy, Romania, Iran, Iraq, Russia, Uruguay, Germany, India, Tunisia, among others.
