OsoToriOso is een mobiel erfgoed- en verhalenproject in Suriname en Nederland rond de Surinaamse oso\u2019s: houten woningen die tijdens en na de slavernij werden gebouwd door timmerlieden van Afrikaanse oorsprong die hun vrijheid\u202fhadden verworven.\u202fIn OsoToriOso fungeert zo\u2019n huisje als drager van verhalen uit de Surinaamse diaspora, en groeit door ontmoetingen, workshops en intergenerationele uitwisseling uit tot een levend archief van herinnering en verbeelding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In deze workshop voor community arts professionals delen de initiators de bredere context van en methodiek achter het project. Zij gaan in op de manier waarop ze verhalen ophalen, hoe deze worden vertaald naar een fysieke ruimte en een gedeelde tijd, en hoe een sociaal-artistiek project als deze kan bijdragen aan het herdefini\u00ebren van geschiedenis. Deze workshop biedt inzicht in werken met tastbaar erfgoed, diaspora en jonge generaties en biedt inspiratie voor iedereen die werkt met persoonlijke verhalen en geschiedenis.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n
