In dit participatieve project onderzoeken buurtbewoners samen wat de aarde voor hen betekent, en welke persoonlijke herinneringen, geluiden en gevoelens daarmee verbonden zijn. Samen met lokale deelnemers en internationale ICAF-gasten werkt&nbsp;Maia&nbsp;toe naar een participatief zondagmiddagconcert in de grote zaal van Theater Zuidplein, als onderdeel van de afsluiting van ICAF 2026.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In deze allerlaatste voorstelling van het festival nodigen we het publiek uit om mee te doen. Om samen ruimte voor verbeelding te scheppen. Om&nbsp;van&nbsp;zich te laten horen. She studied Composition in Uruguay, completed a Master\u2019s in Audiovisual Composition in France, and earned additional Bachelor and Master degrees in classical voice in the Netherlands. <\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>As a composer, Maia has written music for film, video games, theatre, opera, museums, and interdisciplinary projects, with award-winning works in Uruguay, France, and Chile. She is the first female composer in Uruguay to premiere an opera in the country.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>As a singer, she has performed at renowned venues including the Philharmonie de Paris, Auditorium de Lyon, and Grand Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Gen\u00e8ve, and has taken part in concerts, festivals, and opera productions across Europe and Uruguay. Rooted in her Latin-American heritage, she has led and created various folklore and tango projects in France and the Netherlands, and develops wellbeing-based music initiatives through MAGU (NL) and MANIFIESTO (UY).<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Maia is the founder of <strong>ProjectA \u2013 A Voice Journey<\/strong>, an award-winning platform using vocal art for wellbeing and social impact.
