Ap\u00e1tridas (Stateless)<\/strong> van Companhia Nova de Teatro geeft een stem aan ontheemden, migranten en vluchtelingen door theater te maken met in plaats van over de betrokkenen. De voorstelling is ge\u00efnspireerd op klassieke mythologische figuren zoals Kassandra, Hecuba, Prometheus en Hercules, en gebruikt deze universele verhalen als ingang om actuele menselijke crises te verkennen. De voorstelling is opgebouwd uit vier met elkaar verbonden solo\u2019s waarin spelers, waaronder acteurs uit Angola en Brazili\u00eb, reflecteren op thema\u2019s als identiteit en verlies van een thuis. Door deze persoonlijke en collectieve stemmen wordt de harde realiteit van migratie, ontheemding en de ontwrichting van samenlevingen zichtbaar gemaakt. Met een innovatieve mix van live performance, beeldtaal en digitale media onderzoekt Ap\u00e1tridas<\/em> hoe mensen zich verhouden tot land, gemeenschap en toekomst in een wereld waarin grenzen en uitsluiting steeds meer van invloed zijn. De voorstelling verbindt persoonlijke verhalen met bredere sociale en politieke contexten en nodigt het publiek uit om na te denken over wat \u2018thuis\u2019 betekent en hoe we identiteit en menselijkheid vormgeven te midden van crisis en beweging. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 2001 by Lenerson Polonini<\/strong> in partnership with Carina Casuscelli<\/strong>, the company develops a continuous research work based on the performance, the arts of the body and the visual arts universe. The Companhia Nova de Teatro is an open company and to each new project invites actors, dancers and artists from different areas to collaborate with its productions. The multimedia theater developed by the company seeks to explore the three-dimensionality of the stage and the relationship of art and urgent social issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The performances privilege the physical aspect of the actor in the scene, where they do not represent \"papers\", but they function as icons, images and vehicles through which the public receives a multiplicity of visual and auditory events, as if it were inside a stimulus box synchronized sensorial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over nearly 25 years dedicated to experimental theater in the city of S\u00e3o Paulo, the group has presented its plays across Brazil and at festivals and theaters in countries such as the United States, Greece, Italy, Romania, Iran, Iraq, Russia, Uruguay, Germany, India, Tunisia, among others.
